The community says its own foundation is on December 7th 2012. This is when the FraughtMovie YouTube channel started, which provided a platform for the then Fraught Squad.
Every member of the community has rights. They are:
Right to vote: All members may vote in all elections held in the community.
Right to participation: All members have the right to run or apply for positions.
Right to expression: All members may express their opinions freely, so long as they do so in appropriate environments.
Right to fair treatment/trial: No member may be banned from any public aspect of the community without trial.

The community has these goals:
Make sure the community continues existing and promote investment on the business side of the community.
Protect the community’s “history”, “culture'' and all other things that make us unique.
This community was founded on December 7th 2012. All members have certain rights that no one can take away:
Right to vote.
Right to participate in staff.
Right to express themselves freely.
Right to a trial before getting banned.
Right to be protected.
Right to have credits and personal items in the community.
Right to enforce the rules.
Right to protest.
Lastly, the community has certain goals that it will work towards.
Caveton has 3 parts to it’s staff which help run the server. These are:
The Monarchy
The Guardianship (also called “the Guards”)
The Judgeship (also called “the Judges”)
Together, these make up the administration of the server.
The Monarch of the community is the representative for the community. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the same person as the CEO of the Fraughtia organization. They are in-charge of proposing changes and running Caveton.
TERM: The position is held until the Monarch resigns.
ELECTION: The Monarch is selected by the previous Monarch. However, it is encouraged to run a public election to select the Monarch.
REQUIREMENTS: A candidate must...
Not have any position of power in another community.
Have been in the community for 1 year or more.
Have at least 25 credits or equivalent in their account.
Not have a recent history of troublesome behavior.
Be at least 16 years old
POWERS: The Monarch can...
Appoint or remove MINISTERS.
Remove or demote member(s) of the GUARDIANSHIP through a “vote of confidence”.
Appoint and remove members of JUDGESHIP, so long as at least 1 person is left in it.
Declare a 24 hour “total control” period 5 times per month in the event of an emergency. During these, the Monarch’s power is only limited by the ROTC.
Appoint a PRIME MINISTER, knowing that if the position is activated, they are limited to approving total controls, and removing the PRIME MINIISTER once they do so.
Make proposals to the GUARDIANSHIP. The Monarch can’t vote on any proposal.
Make referendums. If a referendum is approved, it only needs ½ the required votes with the Guards.
The Monarch can appoint a Prime Minister to serve as a back-up or as a replacement, if they feel inadequate to hold the position. If one is chosen, the Prime Minister of the community will perform delegated responsibilities and, if activated, will assume the role of the acting Monarch, with the exception of “total control”, which they’ll have to receive approval from the Monarch to use. The Prime Minister is also the “moderator” of the Ministers and must make sure all Ministers are meeting objectives.
TERM: Dependent on the Monarch. Ends when removed or when the Monarch resigns.
ELECTION: Appointed by the Monarch , but recommended to be set by a public election.
REQUIREMENTS: A candidate must…
Not have any position of power in another community.
Have been in the community for 1 year or more.
Have at least 25 credits or equivalent in their account.
Not have a recent history of troublesome behavior.
Be at least 14 years old
POWERS: The Prime Minister can...
Normally...
Vote as a tie-breaker in the GUARDIANSHIP votes.
Moderate and remove MINISTERS.
Do anything devolved from the MONARCH.
When activated...
Have the same power as the Monarch except for calling total controls.
FL/FG is just a decorative position held by the partner of the Monarch or acting Monarch. They may only hold powers given to them by the GUARDIANSHIP in severe emergencies.
TERM: Dependent on the Monarch. Ends when removed or when the Monarch resigns.
ELECTION: Appointed by the Monarch.
Ministers are the preferred provider of specific functions or services usually given from the Monarch. They are free to use any means (even outsource) provided to complete the function given to them.
TERM: 2 weeks with infinite re-elections by the Monarch or by the GUARDIANSHIP . May be removed by the GUARDIANSHIP through a vote or directly by the Monarch/Prime Minister.
ELECTION: Ministers are proposed by the Monarch to the GUARDIANSHIP . The GUARDIANSHIP may accept or decline the new minister with a simple majority vote. If denied, the GUARDIANSHIP must propose a candidate within 24 hours. If no candidates are presented or if the candidate denies the position, the Monarch may force the election of the minister.
POWERS: A Minister can…
Do anything devolved from the MONARCH.
Manage their own Clerks.
Clerks help out their Minister complete their goals. They are free to use any means (even outsource) provided to complete the function given to them.
TERM: Reconfirmation of their Minister automatically reconfirms their position. The Prime Minister may choose to keep them in their position around after a Minister has been removed/unconfirmed. They may be removed by their Minister, with approval from the Prime Minister, or directly by the Prime Minister.
ELECTION: Set by the Minister or assigned by the Prime Minister.
POWERS: A Clerk can…
Do anything devolved from their Minister.
Guards are the moderators of Caveton. Their job is to keep order and activity in the server, host events, write new rules and vote on proposals. They must use the Moderator Guidelines (SEE ARTICLE 4.3.), avoid favoritism and act upon an issue even if it's not explicitly against the rules. There should be 1 Guard per 25 members.

Remove a JUDGE with a 3/5 vote or with a simple majority with approval from the Monarch.
Host and announce server events.
Proxy Guards are moderators for Caveton-owned platforms outside of the main Discord server. The number of Proxy Guards assigned to a platform is set by the Guards and Elite Guards. They may only vote on non-ROTC proposals. They must also use the Moderator Guidelines (SEE ARTICLE 4.3.), avoid favoritism and act upon an issue even if it's not explicitly against the rules.

REQUIREMENTS: A candidate must...
Have been in the community for 1 year or more
Not have a recent history of troublesome behavior.
POWERS: A Proxy Guard can...
Vote for anything the Guards can, but their vote 1/2 of a Guards vote.
Mute members.*
Propose “resolutions” (SEE ARTICLE 3.3.) to muted members.*
Host and announce events on their platform.
*For members from their platform. They can also moderate the server if there’s an emergency.
Elite Guards are the higher moderators in Caveton. They have the same job as the Guards, but must also keep order between the Guards of their platoon (3 Guards + their Elite Guard). They should rate the Guards after a moderation event according to the Moderation Rating Guidelines and coordinate with the Monarch to conduct moderation simulations for training. There should be 1 Elite Guard per 4 guards.
TERM: Elite Guards are re-elected on: 1/22, 4/22, 7/22, 10/22

TERM: Ends when removed or when the benefit provided ends.
ELECTION: Directly by Patreon. If they aren’t a Caveton+ subscriber, then the Monarch proposes them and the rest of Guards approve them.
REQUIREMENTS: A candidate must…
Be a Caveton+ subscriber or must be providing some sort of benefit to the community or the Fraughtia organization.
POWERS: An Honor Guard can…
Vote for anything the Guards can, but their vote 1/2 of a Guards vote.
Judges are members that judge cases not handled by or transferred from the Guards and interpret any “gray areas” made by this document. They are also responsible for imposing votes of confidence on the MONARCHY and the GUARDIANSHIP. They may use this document and the Discord Community Guidelines as a base for judgement. There may only be a maximum of 5 and a minimum of 3.
TERMS: Judges are eternal until they are removed or resign.
ELECTION: Judges are appointed by the GUARDIANSHIP or the MONARCHY.
REQUIREMENTS:
Have been a member for over 3 months.
Not have a history of any troublesome behavior.
Be at least 14 years old.
POWERS:
Interpret this document when summoned by the MONARCHY.
Judge cases referred from the GUARDIANSHIP.
Call votes of confidence on members of the MONARCHY or GUARDIANSHIP.
Have immunity from being banned or muted during cases concerning either the MONARCHY or the GUARDIANSHIP or imposing a vote of confidence on these.
Have immunity from being brought to a trial by the plaintiff or defendant of a case they just resolved. This protection can be removed by the GUARDIANSHIP.
2.5. HOW IT WORKS
The Monarchy handles the day-to-day (creating/deleting channels, reviewing activity, handling the news or QOTD’s, etc.) functioning of the server, except for moderation and events. They may suggest things to the Guards and may make up temporary solutions to urgent problems.
The Guards handle the server’s moderation, events and the server’s decision making. They are supposed to mute members if someone breaks the rules and handles their unmuting process. They propose and vote for changes to happen in the server. Once they vote for something, the Monarch either approves it or vetoes it.
The Judges handle arguments between 2 sides in the community. Usually they see cases derived from the Guards, when members disagree with the Guards’ moderation decisions. They can also handle disputes between the other two powers (Monarchy and Guards) or denounce abuses of power in staff. They can single-handedly start referendums (official surveys) to take action.
The community has 3 parts to the staff:
The MONARCHY (Monarch, Prime Minister and Ministers): Handles the daily management of the server.
The GUARDIANSHIP (Guards, Elite Guards, Proxy Guards and Honor Guards): Handles the moderation, events and make decisions/rules for the server. The Guards are supposed to represent the members in staff, since they're voted in.
The JUDGESHIP (Judges): Handles arguments between members and make sure the other parts don't abuse their power.
There will be an election for Guards on 1/22, 4/22, 7/22 and 10/22. All positions can be removed by the members in some way.
For any public election to be valid, it needs at least 70% participation (70% of the total number of the most recent census). 1 week before elections, there should be a new census lasting 3 days. Using alt accounts and vote buying are grounds for a candidate or party to be disqualified for that election. All percentage conversions must be rounded down to the closest whole number. Candidates may encourage otherwise inactive members to vote, but may not coerce them into voting for a particular candidate or party. Suspicious votes of this nature will be vetted by the Judgeship.
When announcing an election, every candidate has to give the following information:
Number of servers you currently own/leader:
Number of servers you admin or moderate:
Past experience (if any):
Person/Party your invested votes will go to (If you're NOT in a party):
When listing candidates, the same information must be visible.
For elections that only have 1 winner, a candidate must have 70% of the total votes to win. The election has to be open for 1 day. If no one has 70% by the end of the election, there must be an extension of 2 days. If there’s a perfect tie by the end of the extension, there must be a public coin toss.
Election Duration: 1 day
Extension: 2 days (MAX)
For elections that have multiple winners, seats are to be distributed proportional to the final results. The election has to be open for 2 days. Any candidate may request a 1 day extension. If there are contested seats by the end of the election, run through the “vote investment” process until all seats are filled. If there’s still a deadlock by the end of the process, go into a one-winner election between the remaining candidates.
Election Duration: 2 days
Extension: 1 day
If there's a tie or a candidate/party is below the amount of votes needed to win, then they may "invest" their votes into another party/candidate which is closest to their views. If an independent candidate has enough for 2 or more seats, then they may "invest" their votes into another party/candidate which is closest to their views.
If there's a deadlock and not all seats are filled, the parties or candidates with the most excess votes must choose another to invest their votes in another candidate. The logic of of multiple winner elections is laid out in:
Parties are a group of members that support each other in elections. Parties may present 1 or more candidates for multiple winner elections and may present 1 candidate for one winner elections. Parties may consist of candidates and voters.
Guards are to be attentive and responsible for the server for a given time (hours of responsibility). They are paid for those hours. If they take action outside of their hour, they are paid for that hour, with the inactive guard losing payment for that hour (if applicable). The schedules and payment for moderators is specified by:
Ministers are to be attentive and responsible for their function. They will be paid based on completion of their function. They manage their own times, but must complete minimum quotas to receive pay.
The Prime Minister should verify that the Ministers did their required work before sending payment. If a Minister is inactive or if their work is lousy, the Prime Minister may claim their pay by completing their function. This is subject to approval by the Monarch.
Judges are responsible for working through cases and serving as arbitrators for conflicts between members. They are paid for completion of these tasks. Judges can also start referendums for change, either independently or upon request from the Monarch.
When a Guard takes action against a member, they have to propose a resolution. In the resolution, the Guard has to summarize how long they will be muted for and any other stipulations. The Guard should be reasonable with their mute length and can not give an indefinite mute without trial.
The Guard must then ask the member if they accept it their mute. If denied, the member must be put on trial with the JUDGESHIP. If the member leaves before the trial or the resolution could be applied, the JUDGESHIP must still give a verdict.
Rules of the community are manifested by the actions of the Judges in every case they take on. Therefore there needs to be a trial log which registers the decision of the Judges in every case they take.
The GUARDIANSHIP can vote to make new rules by a simple majority vote. If the vote ends in a tie, the Prime Minister (if available and regardless if activated or not) does a tie-breaker vote. If there isn't a Prime Minister, the Monarch does the vote.
The passed votes must be recorded in a votes log. All passed motions should be publicly accessible to everyone. The Monarch must act on the motion in a reasonable amount of time, if required.
The Monarch may veto the vote, however the Guardianship may override the veto if 75% of the Guardianship votes in favor and all of the regular and Elite Guards also vote in favor.
The GUARDIANSHIP may elevate a particular rule or modification to the ROTC with a 75% majority vote.
Should the Monarch feel the GUARDIANSHIP is not acting in the best interest of the community, the Monarch may enact an executive vote of confidence (EVoC) for himself against the Guards. If confidence is granted, the MONARCHY has the confidence of the GUARDIANSHIP to handle polemic topics. If denied, the whole MONARCHY is TIER 2 CENSORED. If the GUARDIANSHIP denies the MONARCHY twice, the Monarch may force a dissolution of the GUARDIANSHIP and all its members (except the honor guards) may be elected.
When there is a conflict between members or the staff it becomes a “case” and is sent to the JUDGESHIP for them to arbitrate. The final decision by a Judge will be given in a trial, which may be public or private depending on the nature of the case. For most cases, only one Judge may act and give a verdict.
A “private trial” is decided solely by the ruling Judge after extensively reviewing the situation. The Judge cannot be a member to the conflict, nor have a close personal connection (like a family member or significant other).
For more extreme cases, especially those about an abuse of power from Caveton or its staff, a “public trial”, can be made. A public trial is decided democratically by the members. A Judge will be assigned to review the situation and create a minimum of 3 possible outcomes. The public will then vote on what they feel is the best outcome for the situation.
If a member of a case feels the verdict was not adequate, they may request an appeal of the trial. If there is a Judge that does not have a conflict of interest and is willing, there will be a retrial where the new Judge will review the previous trial and determine a more fair verdict (if applicable). The MONARCH may force a retrial if they feel the original Judge’s verdict was not fair nor reasonable.
The server runs elections to elect people to positions. All elections need 70% of the total number of people in the most recent census. There are 2 types of elections:
Elections with 1 winner: Needs 70% of the votes to win right away. If time runs out, then the person with the most votes wins.
Elections with more than 1 winner: The winners are handed proportionally to the results. It's all handled by a Google Sheet.
All staff positions in Caveton are paid with credits. Judges are paid per case, Ministers paid depending on their work and Guards are paid based off their "shift". This is also handled by the a Google Sheet.
When Guards moderate, they have to provide a "resolution" to the member. They also make rules and decisions by voting. The Monarch can veto their decisions and can call an "EVoC" (a special vote) to keep the Guard's power in check. However, the Guards can elevate rules to the ROTC with votes that have 75% or more of approval. Judges can technically create rules based off the cases that they see, which are registered in the Trial Log.
When someone is censored, they lose the power given to them by that position, but still retain it. Censors have a tier system:
TIER 1 CENSOR = Less than 24 hours.
TIER 2 CENSOR = 24 hours.
TIER 3 CENSOR =1 week.
TIER 4 CENSOR = 1 month.
TIER 5 CENSOR = Permanent until trial.
When someone is banned, they are removed from the community and lose any held positions. Bans may only be pardoned by the Monarch, with approval from the GUARDIANSHIP. Bans, like censors have a tier system:
TIER 1 BAN = Less than 24 hours.
TIER 2 BAN = 24 hours.
TIER 3 BAN =1 week.
TIER 4 BAN = 1 month.
TIER 5 BAN = Permanent until trial.
TIER 6 BAN = Permanent.
TIER 7 BAN = Permanent and irrevocable.
Fines are sanctions that are given based on an offense classification.
The offense may be described as a misdemeanor, medium offense or high offense.
Misdemeanor: Reserved for first non-serious offenses.
Using chats for unintended purposes.
Excessive use of foul language.
Making another member feel uncomfortable.
Medium Offense: Reserved for first somewhat serious offenses or repeated non-serious offenses.
Harassment of another member.
Posting NSFW content outside of NSFW rated chats.
Causing damage to another member’s property.
High Offense: Reserved for first serious offenses or repeated somewhat serious offenses.
Attack on Caveton or an allied server.
Causing mental or physical damage to another member.
Betraying Caveton in any way.
Defamation of another member or the community.
Causing damage to another member’s property.
Inciting acts of disobedience or revolution.
Fine 1: Small to moderate fine (1% to 30% of total credit account) and/or take the member role for up to 48 hours. Demotion of one member level.
Fine 2: A moderate to severe fine (31% to 75% of total credit account) and/or a take of member role for up to 72 hours. Demotion of more than one member level.
Fine 3: A severe fine (75% up to 99% of total credit account) and ban from the server. Demotion of all possible member levels.
“Misdemeanor” = Fine 1
“Medium Offense” = Fine 1 or 2
“High Offense” = Fine 3
Moderators can mute any member if they do the following:
Use the wrong channel.
Defame another member.
Threaten another member.
Actively spread rumors about a member.
Encourage discrimination of a member.
However, if the moderator is personally annoyed or feels a members actions are inappropriate but is not explicitly mentioned above, they may:
KINDLY ask the member to stop.
IF IGNORED, officially warn the member.
IF IGNORED, official second warning. If insulted, continue to 4 and skip this step.
IF IGNORED, mute member.
Once muted, DM the member to let them know what their punishment will be. Then, ask the member if they agree with their punishment. If they disagree, immediately start a case ticket with the Judges and explain the situation.
To make sure that the Guards have standards of moderation, the Elite Guard must evaluate their platoon’s Guards upon a moderation event.
Professionalism: The Guard should remain calm and should not show any signs of anger or emotion during their warning or moderation event. They should also not retort or respond to the member in question.
RATED: 0 - 5
Protocolary: The Guard should follow article 4.4. of the ROTC in its entirety. In addition, when giving a warning or during a moderation event, the steps should be CLEAR (ping the user) and shouldn’t contain any sort of response or retort to the member.
RATED: 0 - 5
Efficacy: The Guard should respond in a timely manner to an event, especially if pinged or if the event happened in their hour(s) or responsibility.
RATED: 0 - 5
Fairness: When tending to a situation, the Guard should inform members and other actors (that may be mini-modding) to not intervene in the situation and mute any member that is contributing to the event.
RATED: 0 - 5
After a moderation event, the Elite Guard responsible should rate the acting Guard unless the Elite Guard responded to the event themself. All points are to be tallied up and divided by 4 to get the final rating.
Use the appropriate channels.
No threatening others.
Keep drama to a minimum.
Chill on memeing, be funny not annoying. Don’t go too far.
Don’t mess with the music bots.
No nudes anywhere.(Even in NSFW chats)
Judges handle cases, interpretations, referendums and validate elections. This section will outline the guidelines for these three main activities.
When a ticket is started in Caveton, a case has officially started. The Judges must determine who the person with the least connection to the people or situation involved is. Once selected, that “chosen Judge” follows these steps:
IS THE CASE UNNECESSARY?: If you personally feel that the case is obviously not serious or has no grounds to continue, you can submit it to a vote in the Judgeship on whether to continue the case or not. If it doesn’t continue, go to step 6. Instead of the verdict, use the reasoning of the Judgeship as to why the case was denied and don’t announce it to the defendant.
GATHER PLAINTIFF INFO: Have the member who started the case (the plaintiff) explain the situation. Ask questions and gather information and evidence (screenshots, recordings, etc.) from the plaintiff and witnesses they mention.
GATHER DEFENDANT INFO: Now gather information (through DMs or by adding them to the ticket) from the person the plaintiff is accusing (the defendant). Ask questions and gather information and evidence (screenshots, recordings, etc.) from the plaintiff and witnesses they mention.
DETERMINE THE CASE HANDLING: Once you have all the information, you have to determine if the case is public or private. If the case is very important and especially if it’s regarding an abuse of power by Caveton’s staff or is against its system, the case should be a public trial. If the case is smaller or is sensitive in nature, it should be a private trial. Private trials can be handled by a single Judge with or without help from the Judgeship. Public trials should be handled by the entire Judgeship, with the final determiner being the “chosen Judge”.
SET UP THE PUBLIC VOTE (PUBLIC TRIALS ONLY): Once the Judgeship has reviewed the information, you have to write a summary of both sides’ versions of the story. Ideally, both the plaintiff and defendant should agree the summary is as unbiased as possible. Then add the possible verdicts/resolutions and post the public vote in the ballot box. The option with the most votes is the final verdict.
LET THE VERDICT BE KNOWN: Once a verdict is reached, announce it to the plaintiff, the defendant.
TRIAL LOG AND CLOSE: Include all evidence and information into Trial Log. Copy the exact verdict given to both sides. The verdict will be executed exactly as you detailed it. Once the Trial Log information has been submitted, the case is over. Close the ticket and save the transcript.
CASE ETIQUETTE:
When presenting yourself, explain that someone has started a case in Caveton and you’re doing an investigation. Provide as little information as possible.
Base yourself firstly on the ROTC, server rules, Discord’s guidelines and case precedent. Secondly on auxiliary, inferred or historical rules. Thirdly (when there’s a case that has no reference in previous case data) on your own morality and sense of right and wrong.
Always remain professional. However, you can break character if you feel it will help in information collection.
The other two powers (Monarchy and Guardianship) can request the Judgeship interpret the ROTC if there’s a conflict or gray area in the rules. The Judgeship as a whole can also use this power to veto new rules from the Guardianship, should they find them to be inconsistent with the ROTC.
A referendum is a poll that can be started by any Judge, or requested by the other two powers. The referendum can be used to remove a member of staff (also called a “vote of confidence”). They are submitted to the ballot box. The option with the most votes is the official result.
When an election is over, the Judgeship is sent the results to make sure only valid votes are counted. The Monarch will run an independent count and validate with the results of the Judges. Once a Judge validates the results, the election is over.
The Judgeship may “make up” its own punishments. However, Judges are encouraged to use the ROTC established bans, censors, fines and special memberships (conditional membership and civil death) along with the following punishments.
REPARATIONS
Amount the member needs to pay to the other person.
REPARATIONS II
Object the member needs to pay or return to the other person.
COOPERATION
The member is forced to cooperate with the other member or the community towards a goal. An alternate consequence must be provided if the member fails to complete the cooperation.
FORCED TRANSFER
The member is forced to leave their home server in favor of another.
FORCED SILENCE, RESTRAINING ORDER
The member is not allowed to have communication with another member or a server.
DEMOTION/DESTITUTION
Forced removal of the member from a position. This can affect that member’s position in their server.
The server has different kinds of bans and censors (demotions) that a Judge give a member who misbehaves. All Guards are expected to follow the moderator process when they moderate:
KINDLY ask the member to stop.
IF IGNORED, officially warn the member.
IF IGNORED, official second warning. If insulted, continue to 4 and skip this step.
IF IGNORED, mute member.
They also have to DM the misbehaving member with their "resolution" and ask if they agree with it. If not, the case is sent to the Judges. Guards are also graded based on their performance.
Members must use common sense, but generally they should follow member guidelines:
Use the appropriate channels.
No threatening others.
Keep drama to a minimum.
Chill on memeing, be funny not annoying. Don’t go too far.
Don’t mess with the music bots.
No nudes anywhere. (Even in NSFW chats)
A member is any person within the Caveton server. Membership may be expanded to include members in Realms, Servers, or close partners of Caveton. Within Caveton, active members are those with the “💖” role and inactive members with the “😴”.
Membership guarantees everyone basic rights in this document. However, there are certain circumstances where membership may be restricted or expanded.
A conditional membership is a type of membership in which the person in question can be banned without reason or warning. This membership may only be given by the JUDGESHIP or by the Monarch.
In civil death membership, the person in question is subject to conditional membership and cannot hold any positions of power at any level. This membership may only be given by the JUDGESHIP.
In "EHO membership", the person in question is a member of a community that is considered "Hostile." EHO membership is equivalent to conditional membership, with the stipulation that it cannot be removed until either the member leaves and disassociates with the hostile organization, or the organization is no longer declared hostile.
Bails are an extreme show of gratitude by the community. A Bail exempts a member from a conclusion reached by the JUDGESHIP, GUARDIANSHIP or the Monarch. The item is transferable and members may only have one at a time. Once the bail is used, the member cannot use another for a year. Bails are unusable and unobtainable by conditional, civil death, or EHO members. Bails do NOT cover: BAN TIERS 6 and 7, CENSOR TIER 5 and HIGH OFFENSES. If a bail is used in a case that is not covered, it is suggested that the member be subjected to a second trial 1 month after the original verdict.
Caveton may enter into agreements ("partnerships") with other communities. There are two main types for partnerships: Merge or Association.
A merge is when another community completely joins Caveton and ceases to be an independent entity. Members of a merged server are given Caveton Membership and their time in the original server is counted for Caveton positions and requirements. The Monarch may add additional benefits or stipulations, subject to approval by the Guardianship.
An association is when another community or organization wishes to partner with Caveton but to still retain independence. As with mergers, the Monarch may add additional benefits or stipulations, subject to approval by the Guardianship.
If another community threatens the safety, security, or stability of Caveton or one of its members, it may be declared as a "hostile organization." Once an organization is declared hostile, all mutual members between Fraughtia and the organization in question will be placed under EHO conditional membership. For further reading, please click here.
There are 3 different types of membership:
Normal - You get this the minute you join Caveton. You have all your rights!
Conditional - This is given to you by a Judge or by the Monarch. You can be banned without reason or warning.
Civil Death - This is given to you by a Judge. It's like conditional, but you also can't hold any positions of power.
There's also an "EHO" membership. This is very rare, but you get this if you belong to another server or group that we consider dangerous or hostile. Members can also have a "bail", meaning that they can avoid a punishment that one time.
Fraughtian State of Emergency (F.S.E.)
IF: The Monarch is unable to lead, disappears or passes away.
THEN:
Prime Minister takes the position as acting Monarch if available.
If there’s no Prime Minister, enter Legislative Lockdown.
Temporal Fraughtian State of Emergency (T.F.S.E.)
IF: The Monarch cannot lead due to temporary urgency, emergency or situation.

In the event of the complete and utter dissolution of the community aspect of Fraughtia, any member at or above the age of 14 may revive the community and auto-declare themselves Monarch. This act is to transcend all revisions of this document, any acts that prevent it’s execution, or the life of the community itself. Once revival is declared, the reborn community will adopt this document as its Carta Magna. Should multiple people declare revival, they must unite into a congress or equivalent that will form the new GUARDIANSHIP and vote for the next leader amongst themselves. There may only be one true community. Once all administrative roles established by this document are filled, the community may resume normal functions.
This document can only be amended in the event of controlled collapse or by unanimous vote by the GUARDIANSHIP. However parts of this document may be revised during an "total control", so long as the revision does not affect SECTION 2.
To keep members safe, the Monarch or GUARDIANSHIP can declare an alert state:
CODE YELLOW: In this state, members should be alert for suspicious activity. Contact with outsiders is discouraged.
CODE RED: In this state, members should be alert for suspicious activity. Contact with outsiders is forbidden and bannable.
SOFT LOCKDOWN: In this state, contact with all outsiders is forbidden. No new members are to be registered.
HARD LOCKDOWN: In this state, contact with all outsiders is forbidden. No Fraughtian service should be available until the problem is resolved.
The community has many different procedures in case something goes wrong. If something is wrong with staff, usually an "emergency procedure" will be activated. If there's a threat, an "alert state" will be activated.
The Fraughtian Credit, or more simply “Credit”, is the currency used in the community. Its value is dependent on supply and demand. It is to be exchanged via a credit transaction system (SOLTRANS) or through a third party. Because of their nature, the credit is more of a “share” of the community, even if the community itself is not directly responsible for imposing value upon it.
When the community itself needs credits, a community-wide buy-back is announced. Anyone with credits can participate. Members set their own price in US DOLLARS and the Monarch decides from whom to buy-back from.
In the community, members can earn credits. It's like a currency members can use to exchange things with each other. Sometimes, if the community needs credits, it'll do a "buyback" with members (exchange credits for USD).
